We had a busy week the last part of June. It started off with my Aunt Carol arriving on Tuesday. She was here for the national bowling tournament which is huge. It is here every 3 years and goes from March completely through July. Mom came over Wednesday morning, and we headed over to watch some bowling. Jameson was in heaven with all the balls. The bowling center is crazy. It’s about 5 stories high with something like 80 lanes, and about 10 rows of stadium seating. Well I took this picture of Jameson watching…

and then got yelled at for using my flash. So the rest of my pictures are a bit blurry. Really, though? It’s bowling people. So here’s Aunt Carol up to bowl, then Jameson getting full use out of the stands.

     

After the bowling ally, we came home and got ready for the rodeo. Jameson and his grandma with their boots. (Sorry it’s blurry. Forgot to turn the flash back on.)

First we stopped at Texas Roadhouse for some good food. Jameson loved the onion blossom. He was starving, though, so I think he would have eaten anything.

   

Then we picked up Kevin and headed to the rodeo. People were in our seats, of course. Who can read a ticket and find the corresponding seat, right? Luckily, we were right by our friends from the ward who weren’t using all their seats. So we sat with them. The lady behind us was not having it, and tried to argue that now we were in someone else’s seat, and they would show up only to cause more problems. Andrew, our friend, was trying to explain the seats were his, and no one would show up, but she didn’t get it. She finally left us alone so we could enjoy the show. Jameson loved all the animals. He wasn’t too into the roping or barrel racing, but everything else had his attention.

   

Then they brought the buffalo out. A father/son team had the job of herding these two on top of the trailer.

             

I was surprised the trailer could hold so much weight, and the truck. As you can see, Jameson was stoked!

 

I tried to take a picture of J-mo once the people in front of us moved, and this is what I got. (The lady in the orange is who tried to fight about our seats.)

 

There were a few times Kevin walked J-mo around when he got restless. Of course, he sits on Kevin’s shoulders and waves at everyone. All these people kept stopping and saying hi.

The next day, were were out and about, and mom saw something shiny poking out of her tire. We went by Discount Tire, and Jameson made good use of the wait time.

     

Mom left Thursday afternoon. Jameson has been really into Nikki’s kennel lately. (He does get stuck, but still enjoys it.)

   

Aunt Carol and some of her teammates stayed with us Thursday night. Friday we went to the park, and came home to see Kevin off. He and his friend, Scott, went on an overnight motorcycle adventure around Tahoe. First, Jameson had to try dad’s gear to make sure he would be safe. That night Paul came for a visit on his way to Sac.

     

They rode their bikes, camped out next to a creek, and missed a turn on the way home sending them almost to Angels Camp before realizing they were in CA not NV. They did make it home safely.

Saturday night we had Aunt Carol once again before they headed back to UT. It was a busy week with lots of company every night, but very fun. Thanks everyone for stopping by.
