The last couple days it has been fun to get the mail… more presents! I had to show pictures of them because they were way too cute!

These cute outfits are from a friend from high school. How awesome is that! Check out the shoes and the beanie! His fiance has got some good taste that’s for sure.

My aunt sent us this blanket and burp cloths she made. I thought they were too cute not to share.

This is how my boy spend their time!

The first week we had Jameson at home, Mom came over to help. It was nice to be able to sleep for more than 3 hours at a time and have someone else around the house. So THANKS MOM for all your help last week. This week has been a little tougher having to get up myself and trying to let Kevin get as much sleep as he can… he’s on weekend duty though!

Last week we also did some Christmas shopping. Saturday Kevin went over to his dad’s shop to work on our car, which was fine cause he said he’d be back before we left to go shopping. Well he wasn’t which wasn’t a big deal except he had the stroller in the car. Wonderful! So we busted out the Snugli and off we went to the mall. It actually wasn’t that bad except he started to get heavy. I don’t know how I carried him inside… no wonders my back hurt and breathing was difficult. Mom snapped a picture because I was resting him on the counter. He’s still a little small so his face was kind of in the netting on the inside and all you could see were his little legs. We made it though, not without a bunch of people asking me to see him first. Which is kind of difficult when they’re strapped to you. And… People kept asking me if he was a month old! I was like, no, a week! Does he look that big?

We checked into the hospital Friday night at about 8 pm. Jameson was born at 6:33 am so needless to say it was a long night. Kevin’s family and my mom and step-dad were able to come by on Saturday so we didn’t get much rest. I was a little out of it while they were there thanks to the kind nurses keeping on my pain pills. Saturday night we didn’t get much sleep as I woke up to every noise Jameson made and the nurses kept coming in to check on us. By Sunday we just wanted to go home. The pediatrician came in to take Jameson for his circumcision and the nurses told us to rest while he was gone. Yah right! People you don’t even think about come in asking all sorts of things. Then the nurse thought we weren’t leaving till Monday and I was like… NO. The doctor said we could go. But wait…. we couldn’t leave because the hospital was on lockdown! Apparently somone saw someone with a weapon in the emergency room so we were stuck. We dressed Jameson in his new little outfit and packed up and finally about 5 pm we were able to leave to come home.
